QualiCoach was founded by Dr. Edwin Brown, a qualitative research specialist dedicated to helping undergrad, graduate and doctoral researchers navigate the research journey with confidence. With extensive experience in human services, qualitative inquiry, and academic writing, Dr. Brown provides structured, high-quality coaching tailored to undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral researchers.

Dr. Edwin Brown

Dr. Brown earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Human Services, completing a qualitative dissertation focused on veterans’ experiences seeking peer-to-peer support for mental health services after COVID-19. His academic background also includes a Master of Science in Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, providing a strong interdisciplinary foundation for research and program development.

Before transitioning into academic consulting, Dr. Brown served 14 years in the United States Navy, where he held leadership roles, trained personnel, and honed his ability to communicate complex information with clarity and precision. His military experience continues to shape his approach—structured, strategic, and student-centered.
